HENRYJOHN

b. 1981, London

Henry John was born in London in 1981. He studied at The Ruskin, Oxford and The Prince's Drawing School. Henry has shown in several group shows in Oxford, Cornwall and London. Henry's work is characterized by confident marks and bold colours. He frequently portrays the people in the parks of London but has recently been making work from the Black Mountains in Wales. There is a playfulness in his process which often results in a departure from the subject to take on abstract concerns.
