Massimo Franco born 1972 in Luton. He studied at Glasgow School of Art and has just completed an MA in printmaking at Camberwell. Exhibitions have included the BP Portrait Award and solo shows in Glasgow. Massimo usually paints from drawings made from direct observation., often working in the life room. He always carries a notebook in which he observes all aspects of daily life with equal empathy.
